I don't know a whole lot about combos but i know a little and i have fun turning the key with my fingers crossed. Sounded good when I was on the gas and crappy when off. I swear i didn't even have time to push more than half way down before the half mile stop light. Crappy down low but then 2200 rpm came around followed by one fat grin on my chin. It needs the converter, badly, next week for that. I finally got it to idle in park at 1000rpm after putting the light springs and skinny rods in the carb and some screw turning. She started right up and for the next 30 min, the neighborhood thought the space shuttle had landed out front. I did everything I was supposed to do and not everything recommended during install. 34 deg., 3.73 posi, b & m street super holeshot 2800-3000 ss (not installed yet), th-350. rollers, hardened push rods, flowtech headers, edel eps dual plane, edel perf. The setup is my 4 bolt 350 hi nickel block, with flat top pistons, fel pro blue gaskets, world sportsman II 64cc 200cc with dual springs plus damper, 1.6 alum. So long story short, I lubed her up and in it went. By the time I did some homework and realized that if I was smart I would probably go with the 103 or 104 maybe, the UPS dude was at my door. Being the idiot I am, I ordered the biggest Lunati Voodoo Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam and Lifter set for my 72 c-10 fleetside lb.
